- Unbelievable! It is already history! Thanks so much for your prayers. The trip to Liberia went well...and I didn't even cry too much.
After a 17 year absence, it was great to once again set my feet on Liberian soil. It was sad to see the destruction all around, which was caused by the war but wonderful to see the attempts at rebuilding.
It was also great to see how the church has grown, even through the war. In Monrovia, where several tents had been left for church planting, there are now many beautiful church buildings, filled with people praising God.
In Zwedru it was wonderful to see many friends continuing to serve God faithfully, as well as to see some new faces in ministry...including some who were just children when I left...what a delight!
Please pray for: - The Country of Liberia, as it continues to go through the program of rebuilding.
- President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, that she would have wisdom and favour in the rebuilding and leading of the Country.
- The Liberia Assemblies of God (LAG), that God would continue to bless it and use it to reach out to the people of Liberia.
- Rev. Jimmy Kuoh and the leadership of LAG as they deal with some legal and relational issues the church is facing.
- Wisdom for PAOC International Missions in the making of a strategic plan of what it can do in Liberia.
