CJ Clips Journal for December 26, 2006Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Sakala and Hearts of Compassion Ministries, along with several supporters from Canada who sent "something extra" this Christmas, it truly was a MERRY CHRISTMAS as had never been seen by the nearly 150 widows and children present.
Overheard on the field, "It was the best Christmas I have ever had!" They heard stories, enjoyed puppets, and played games; thanks to Kidsquest who did a wonderful job of ministry to the kids. Of course, there was singing and much dancing. A great meal of chicken, sausages, rice, potatoes, and cabbage along with scones and sodas was enjoyed by everyone. Lastly, everyone went home with gifts of one type or another. At the end of the day, it was the smiles that told the story of what a wonderful Christmas it had been!
