Newsletter for November 2000NOT to Kenya and NOT to Liberia, but Cheryl Ann Johnson IS on her way back to Africa! At the beginning of November I head to South Africa where I will help out at MET (Missions Exposure and Training School) for a couple months. Then early in 2001 I will head to Zimbabwe and Zambia where I will facilitate the initiation of a children's evangelism and discipleship program. This will be done in conjunction with SEEDS Publications International, using their Seedlings material and the Seedbag Project. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Please pray for open doors and good contacts and working relationship with National Church groups and educators. Please pray that we will find teachers who will show the love of Christ to the children. As I will be working in two countries, much time will be spent on the road and I'd appreciate your prayers for safe travels. It is a big job and I feel very incapable so am depending upon the Lord to enable me to get the job done! As you know, I have entered the computer age by opening a web site. On it I hope to put frequent updates and pictures of what is happening in my part of the world, prayer requests and praise reports. Take a look and let me know what you think! I have also opened an e-group. If you would like to receive updates, prayer requests, and form letters by e-mail on a regular basis, please let me know and I'll be sure to put you on the list. You can do that on the web site, by e-mail, or by dropping me a line by post. For those of you not online, don't worry, a letter will still come your way from time to time. Remember that I am interested in you and what is happening in your life, so please keep in touch. Were I to start listing the many that I need to say "Thank You" to for making this a great Home Assignment, I would be sure to miss someone. Not wanting to miss anyone, please accept this as my Thank You to all for all you have done to make this a good year. You are greatly appreciated! For Africa's Children, Cheryl Ann
