Praise Report for August 20, 2003Were you praying today? If you were, thank you very much! This evening I am thanking the Lord for a safe trip to Kitwe. For some strange reason, there was an uneasiness as I drove today, especially for the first half of the trip. Perhaps it was because my vehicle recently had a tune up and things were feeling a bit different. Perhaps it was a check by the Holy Spirit which really did thwart a plan of the enemy. Many times during the trip when this uneasiness would surface, my first instruction to myself was to drive carefully and be alert. Also many times I found myself praying and asking God to put a hedge of protection around my vehicle. He must have done just that because I arrived safely, without incident. That is never to be taken lightly or for granted in Africa. Thank the Lord for His protection. Thank you for your prayers.
