Praise Report for February 03, 2006FEBRUARY!!! How did that happen? It can't possibly be! Can it? Where has the time gone? My good news is that January 15th has come and gone and I am still in my little house in Avondale. When my landlord and his family came to Lusaka, they decided they wanted to live in another house which they own, not the one I am living in. So I was allowed to stay right here. Thank you to those of you who prayed. I am happy about the surprising way those prayers were answered! It is nice having a "present" landlord, not the absent, out-of-the-country one he has been up till now. In the past week he and/or his wife have been here three times, only one of which was to pick up rent! It is a treat to have a geyser (water heater) that works again, some outside security lights that actually work, and doors that can close and lock! There are still other things on the list but I have to be patient and feel for this poor family which is moving back to Zambia after 10 years working in various countries in the Southern Africa region. Apparently they have a big job fixing up their other house which has been rented out and not well taken care of. Please pray for the Mukhala family. I am sure they are facing many adjustments after such a lengthy absence from their home country. Also please pray that a good job will open for Dr. Mukhala here in Lusaka.
