Praise Report for October 10, 2007

Greetings to all,

Not long ago I shared part of an email with you which wasn't great news. Thanks to the many who responded, letting me know you are praying. Please keep it up!

Today...and what better day than Thanksgiving Day...I want to share part of an email with you which is wonderful news. This email was received from Toyota Zambia, in regards to the purchase of the canopy for the Dream Machine...

Hi Ms Johnson,

Kindly note that we have a cheque as a refund of USD 1,966.00 for a Toyota Hilux 3.0D 4x4 d/cab Raider. This money was paid separate for a canopy but not allocated within our system hence showing in our account as owing to you. I have been attempting calling but not successful, probably something wrong with the lines. Please arrange to collect it as soon as possible.

That's right! Because of a clerical error, Toyota Zambia is returning to me the cost of a canopy which was purchased (and delivery taken) nearly 2 years ago. When I called Edna after receiving her email I told her that indeed I had received the canopy. She told me that was known but there was no way to correct the error of their records not showing that the canopy went out of their shop so the sales department decided that it was best just to give me the money back...even though they know I received the goods! Quite amazing!

This couldn't have happened at a better time either, because I am just finalizing the deal on another Toyota Hilux Double Cab 4 x 4 Pickup. So, rather than receive the cheque, the amount will be applied to the purchase of the new vehicle and it certainly makes life easier. The price of the vehicle has increased considerably so with the insurance claim and with what is in my vehicle account, I did not have enough for the purchase price. This definitely puts the purchase price within reach.

God is so good! Please rejoice with me, as I rejoice!
