Prayer Request for January 23, 2002A new (used) vehicle was ordered for me from Japan. It has arrived in Durban, South Africa. It is to be cleared today and I will be going to Durban with Gerald & Ruth Morrison on the weekend to pick it up. I just had a call telling me the charges for clearing and bond and whatnot. They are considerably higher than what was expected. Murray Cornelius is going to try to check things out to see if there isn't something that could be done to get the charges reduced somewhat. PLEASE PRAY! I am getting the feeling that driving this vehicle to Zimbabwe and Zambia is going to be more of an adventure than I need. Seems no one can tell me what will be needed or what all I will face when I reach each border. Then we also have to remember that this is Africa and procedures are always changing. PLEASE PRAY that I will have bundles of wisdom (and patience) each time it is needed!
