Prayer Request for May 17, 2002Please pray for Charles and his family in this time of bereavement. Pray for those doing AIDS awareness work, that there might be a clear message that a change of lifestyle brought about by personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only answer against this disease. Pray for the many families that have been affected by AIDS...by family members dying and leaving children behind, by having to care for the sick and the dying. Hardly a family doesn't have orphans or sick to care for. Pray that the Church will rise up and help those suffering from the affects of AIDS. So often rather than helping, we shun or fear. What a opportunity for the Church to be able to show the love of Christ! Pray for open doors for Seedlings programs and that it will be a powerful tool in presenting Jesus Christ, who loves and cares for us.
