Prayer Request for December 29, 2006This morning I thought I would make a quick stop at the Doctor's on the way home, thinking my problem was small and surely would have a quick solution. However, the GP on duty decided that I needed to stay and see the skin specialist who was coming in the afternoon. In the end, I believe the diagnosis remained the same, "Cellulitis" in the leg. Antibiotics and various things were prescribed, along with a recommendation to keep the leg elevated. I will try but that makes it rather difficult to get much done. Please pray that the medicine will do its work quickly and that all will be well for the trip to Malawi on Monday for our annual Southern Africa Missionary Retreat. Also please pray for that Missionary Retreat. Please pray for safe travels as missionaries travel through varied travel situations. Also please pray for speedy border crossings! Those long border stops can become very tiring. Also pray that the retreat will be a time of refreshing, spirit, soul, and body.
