Update for August 30, 2004

A couple weeks ago we heard, "Let the games begin." Today I am saying, "Let the adventure begin."

Today I start on the road trip of a lifetime. Most people who do such a thing choose to do it earlier in life. What is this, mid-life crisis or something? I sure hope not! Africa I can handle but can I handle BC and Alberta...a different bed each night, travelling with the same 10 people for 3 months, meeting thousands of people, night after night, after night? Only by God's grace and through your prayers, both on which I will be depending a lot!

Actually, this journey began back in July when I travelled back to Zambia for the month. One of the main reasons for that trip was to accompany Reg Parks, as he did the filming for the Dinner Theatre presentation and Dave and Nancy Seiling, as they went to "experience" Zambia. And experience they did! I'm sure they could tell you the stories a lot better than me. After all, it is old hand to me and the roads were SO MUCH BETTER than I had ever seen them!

In order to raise funds for the Seedlings ministry in Zambia, SEEDS International is going to be presenting a Dinner Theatre, "Little One" across Canada. I have been asked to join them. I have committed myself to travel with the Dinner Theatre troupe for September through November. I am hoping that my budget will be in place by then so that I can return to Zambia.
